Parkins Mill Area Project With Waterfalls, Stream, Pond & Fire Pit
I don't recall another water feature installation that has become more a part of the natural landscape than this stream, waterfall, and pond we did off Parkins Mill Rd in Greenville. It literally feels like a house and backyard just happened to be built around a meandering creek that you would expect to find somewhere in the mountains of Western North Carolina. This was actually a rehab project for us. In fact, it isn't unusual for us to work with a homeowner to make a pond bigger, waterfall taller, or stream longer. Many water features built in the 1990s or earlier are very far behind the times both aesthetically and technically. This particular job was featured on the May 2018 Koi and Water Garden Society Pond Tour. We built four of the ten ponds on the tour. They are all great, but the setting on this one really is spectacular.
