West Greenville Project, From Blank Slate to Full Plate
It doesn't happen often, but sometimes you can catch a new homeowner with a blank yard and get to start a project from dirt to magazine cover. This was a tricky project from the standpoint that the lot was almost completely level. So sitting water was an issue. The lot itself is only about an eighth of an acre, making access and working room quite tight. Despite those challenges, we were able to stage our machinery so that we could dig and install a worldclass water feature complete with a cascading waterfall and large pond. The water feature dominates the small space in a good way. You can hear the water from the street and once in the backyard you feel completely relaxed with the flowing water sound all around you. We completed the yard with sod, walkways, and a stone patio.
